Calgary’s technology sector enhancement is through this new CROWDFUNDING scheme.

Investment can be a fundamental issue for entrepreneurs who want to start their own business and there are people who are ready to invest and support such new innovative ventures. Canadian entrepreneurs contemplate the connection of the “crowd” to get a capital quickly as possible.

"The best companies are those that directly touch the customer, the ones that get feedback directly from the market." – Craig Dunn.

WaterSeal Technology launched a crowdfunding campaign on, one of several dedicated websites where companies describe their product or service and encourage folks to make monetary contributions of any size or denomination.

WaterSeal Technology gets great write-up in Calgary Herald

“Calgary's new way of protecting their Smartphones”

A typical fear of a smartphone user is accidentally spilling it with water or dropping it in the swimming pool. Now, Calgary is a home of a new company who is dedicated to protecting your phone from such disaster.

Here is an excerpt from the article:

"Now, don't laugh: some industry stats say that some 18 percent of all damaged smartphones are water-damaged; damage by liquid (the most common cause is 'toilet drops') is a serious issue, made worse by the fact that many device warranties do not protect against water damage."

Help support Waterseal Technology’s Indiegogo campaign!

The feedback to the initial product has been AMAZING, and we already have stories from our existing customers about how WaterSeal saved their phone from their adventures. Our phones have survived fly-fishing adventures, swims with a goldfish, beer pint accidents, and even a swim in the Bow River in Calgary. However, we want to be able to make WaterSeal Technology available across North America, so our customers can fearlessly take their smartphones on all their adventures.

We are starting this campaign to help fund our R&D program, to be able to add more devices to the list of smartphones we can protect and to help us to be able to provide our service nationally. We hope to be able to build out our "Ship to" model for customers outside Calgary, and then to license our technology to cities throughout North Amercia. We want to improve the turnaround time for getting customers' phones back to them so that they are only without their phones for hours and not days.

There are some greats perks for your contribution, so please visit our Indiegogo Campaign today. Thanks for the support of WaterSeal Technology.
